WaterJet Cut 6mm & 3mm THK Mild Steel. The 3mm mild steel was bent on our Colgar press brake to form a single piece T. The base has a triangular cut out in the centre which is capped on the opposite face - all to ensure everything is level & central.

All developed using Solidworks, manufactured in-house at Creative WaterJet.

At the point of installation, it became apparent to the on-site team that their Stainless Steel fabrication had the securing bolt pattern in the wrong location. This was removed, initially to be modified on a milling machine, however, the head/collet would have collided with the workpiece.

Creative WaterJet was asked for help; initial supplying the plug which was welded in place & dressed. Having removed the support gussets, Creative WaterJet set about profiling the slots and the centre hole.

All worked well, the end results were much better than initially expected.

The adage, measure twice cut once, comes to mind!
