About us
Founded in 2008, ISO9001 accredited Creative WaterJet are small teams who specialise in the profile cutting of virtually any sheet or plate material up to 350mm thick.
With 4 waterjets (13 cutting heads), 5 tonne lifting capacity and a machine bedsize up to 6m x 4m, we create profiles in metals & plastics without a HAZ (Heat Effected Zone), chemical or mechanical impact.
Direct to line supply
The Key Features That Set Us Apart
Supply components finished to the drawing, adding value through secondary processing. CWJ will work to your drawings, supplying components finished to the purchase specification/drawing supplied. Parts received ready for installation/use.

Direct To Line Supply.
From our 1st day, Creative WaterJet have offered components direct to line. Components finished to the purchase / drawing specification, ready to be used in application.

Capacity
From our 6 head WaterOnly cutting machines, to the 6m x 4m 4 head Abrasive WaterJet Cutting machines. Our capacity covers most needs of a WaterJet Cutting client.
Efficient and precise cutting process.
Ability to cut complex shapes and thick materials.
No heat-affected zone, maintains material chemical & mechanical properties.
Short set-up times, with little of no clamping required to secure the workpiece.
Cut through a virtually any sheet metal or plastics.
Cost-effective solution for low to medium volumes
Why Choose WaterJet Cutting?
WaterJet cutting offers numerous advantages for a wide range of industries and applications.

Costs of WaterJet Cutting
The cost of water jet cutting can vary depending on several factors, including the material being cut, the thickness of the material, the complexity of the design, the size of the project. Here are some general factors that can influence the cost of water jet cutting:
- Material: The processing speeds of metallics are heavily dependant on the material density & hardness. Aluminium for example will cut 3x faster than Steel.
- Thickness: The reduction in speed as the thickness increases is not a linearly straight. 10mm Stainless will cut at 45% of 5mm THK Material.
- Design complexity: The WaterJet exit point trails the entry. Therefore for when there is a change of direction the machine slows down to square up the cutting tool & prevent whipping as it changes direction. This adds to the time & therefore component costs.
- Multi Head Cutting: Creative WaterJet utilise multi-head profiling on most of our machines. Ordering in quantities to suit these machines can offer significant savings. 2,4 & 6 head capacity is available.
- Tolerances: Detailing the tolerances required will allow us to rough cut where secondary milling operations are taking place for example, reducing cost.
- Quantity: There is a set-up time involved with each job. Selecting a common material & thickness across a range of parts will reduce set-up costs & increase material yield.
- Nesting: depending on thickness, components can be nested within 4mm of each other, giving excellent material utilisation.
